My mom always reminds me we need to get together for this day. When I was a little, we’d go to Houlihan’s before school, and she’d get her Irish coffee. It’s all about that and the dollop of whipped cream. So, Tot and I agreed to come have breakfast with her on this day.

Coti joined the fun.

We all had our green on!

She served fruit, hash brown O’brien, eggs, and BACON! Yum!
We hung out there for a few, and then the rest of the day was building Lego’s and swimming. I love Spring Break!
Daddy, Tot and I got together to go over some important St. Patty info. First, I wanted to read a bit of history to them about St. Patrick. Four things we can learn from him:
From Crosswalk.com
“His given name wasn’t Patrick. He wasn’t Irish. He didn’t drive the snakes out of Ireland. Instead, the real St. Patrick was a gutsy, creative, tireless missionary in a land where he had been a slave as a young man.”
- Stay Faithful, Even When Life Is Hard
- Trust in God’s Plan
- Step Out in Faith
- Meet People where they are
He was an inspiration and a hero.

We enjoyed learning more about him. Patrick tried to explain the trinity with a Shamrock! The three-leaves: Father, Son, Holy Spirit.

We watched a little Irish Dancing, and then celebrated with some yummy dinner. I made Thanksgiving dinner. Why? Because it was leftover! Ha! Not much green in our food, but it sure was yummy.
I love you family!

Tot’s ready for Easter apparently.

(so is Coopy!)
