Swimmie Friends!

Zoe and Tatum have been friends for a few years now. We have moved from the condo, but we go back to visit often to swim. Zoe is now turning SEVEN! WOW!
the two of them are so cute together.

We appreciate Jeff (her daddy) and their family.

Spring Break Brekkie Adventure

It’s the LAST day of her Spring Break. We have some vacations coming up, so we decided to be a bit low key this break.

First, we wanted to bless Vera with a “we’re praying for you and your arm (she fell and had surgery).”

NOW…Why not go on a mini bike ride (since it’s BEEEEAUUUTIFUL outside!) to breakfast.

We headed to BUTTERS for our adventure. Tot would eat, and Daddy and I would have coffee. It was packed since EVERYONE is on break, but we didn’t mind. It was just nice to be!

Daddy even took the morning off to join!

At the table, silliness ensued. What else do you do while you wait for food?

Tell jokes and color, right? Or …TOT! smile at Daddy.

After our outing, we rode around our “ocean.”

AAAAHHHH McCormick living, and with my family! What more could I ask for.

Blessings!!!

St. Patrick’s Inspiration

My mom always reminds me we need to get together for this day. When I was a little, we’d go to Houlihan’s before school, and she’d get her Irish coffee. It’s all about that and the dollop of whipped cream. So, Tot and I agreed to come have breakfast with her on this day.

Coti joined the fun.

We all had our green on!

She served fruit, hash brown O’brien, eggs, and BACON! Yum!

We hung out there for a few, and then the rest of the day was building Lego’s and swimming. I love Spring Break!
Daddy, Tot and I got together to go over some important St. Patty info. First, I wanted to read a bit of history to them about St. Patrick. Four things we can learn from him:

From Crosswalk.com

“His given name wasn’t Patrick. He wasn’t Irish. He didn’t drive the snakes out of Ireland. Instead, the real St. Patrick was a gutsy, creative, tireless missionary in a land where he had been a slave as a young man.”

  1. Stay Faithful, Even When Life Is Hard
  2. Trust in God’s Plan
  3.  Step Out in Faith
  4. Meet People where they are

He was an inspiration and a hero.

We enjoyed learning more about him. Patrick tried to explain the trinity with a Shamrock! The three-leaves: Father, Son, Holy Spirit.

We watched a little Irish Dancing, and then celebrated with some yummy dinner. I made Thanksgiving dinner. Why? Because it was leftover! Ha! Not much green in our food, but it sure was yummy.

I love you family!

Tot’s ready for Easter apparently.

(so is Coopy!)

Tatum’s Expander from the Orthodontist!

Earlier last year, she was told she needed an expander for her jaw.

Today was the big day. Here is the problemo: Too many teeth…not enough space.

SO Dr. Barakat put in rubber bands to make space

After two weeks, she’s ready.

She’s showing Tatum what is to be done.

Now, every night, I need to rotate it. (14x these next two weeks)

She looks happy. Tight and ready to eat. Lord willing!

In two weeks, follow up!

Brave Tot. Let’s go buy some popsicles, soup, and squeezies!

IDEA March 2022

Another one! We love these nights because it means eating in the dining room, a nice dinner, and creativity!

Tot had a surprise for Daddy. She made him a baby to watch over, Oscar.

He will be a great Daddy for this little one. Are you both excited?

Maple glazed salmon, parsnip/sweet potato/carrot/beet fries, and salad!

Daddy always has wonderful ideas….house ideas and family fun…oh and food!

He has a surprise for us?

So grateful for you!

Taties again…fun ideas.

She was in a hurry to get her ideas in!

And me…mine were kind of repeats, but hey, they still apply!

We love these evenings. May the ideas become reality!

A New Dinner Blessing

We take our food for granted. It’s true! We are so blessed that before we eat, we often fail to recognize the luxury of having food on the table.

It’s time to be more MINDFUL of the blessings of our food!

We came up with a HAY Blessing before meals.

May we always be grateful!
