We are living the 6-G life and part of that is being glad, grateful and God-filled. When you are these G’s, you can’t help but belt out a tune! And so the Two Girls did.
The tune? Cuckoo in the Key of C. Yes, very advanced. (?!)
So well written. It’s very rough still, but any free minute she gets, she is working on it.
I let her bring it in the car so she could read it to me. She is constantly checking in with me and reading what she wrote.
Her Title: It wasn’t very particular

SHe continues ….we will put this together shortly. She is still working on the cohesiveness. As an English teacher, I can see her immense creativity and talent.
When I went out to visit too, Coopy supposedly followed me. Upon coming inside with the Tot, we wondered what happened to Coopy. Where are you, Coopy? Oh my….
Mommy? Taties? Someone?
He would be pure bait out in the world; absolutely has no clue what to do. Oh, Coopy.
“Circle any words we do really well.” This was the directive for our Hay Happens Meeting this week. Tatum has a Turkey paper she has to complete with the family involved. So…..this was a good brainstorming activity.
Daddy and Tot were pretty generous in their word counts.
This was my paper:
We all agreed that we are definitely a grateful family, we honor God and each other, and we are filled with kindness and grace. We also work hard and try to laugh along the way. Hopefully we are others-centered as well.
Then, we looked at the 6-G and I filled in my turkey with that. I surrounded it with all the things we say in the house. heehee.
We ground all we do in this verse too: the BUTT! Yes, but, God!
Last year, we launched a new tradition. We would celebrate being grateful with some of her friends, and we would model how to be grateful with some rocks! Let’s do it again this year.
Daddy worked extra hard in getting the back and front ready. Just look at our cute entry way! Thanks to a HUUUUUUGE pumpkin from Costco. The seeds from that guy….endless I’m sure.
Tot helped a bit in the back….
