School picnic 2022 and launching SPIRIT week!

Every year, they have a school picnic, but this year it was postponed due to rain. Since it was moved to November, it was a bit more chilly! That didn’t stop the Tot from running around.

First stop: NOAH (and a HUGE icey fruity freezy thingy)

Oh, Hi Mrs. Denmark.

And a unicorn on her face. A winner!

Now, she is ready for SPIRIT WEEK!

She had it all logged in her journal:

Monday: Crazy sock day.

Now, I’m not sure how crazy doggies are, but this doggie is pretty crazy!

Tuesday: Decades Day; Gotta go with the 70’s!

As we drove away from home, look at the moon! Just wow!

It was also voting day, so she joined me at the polling place. Go Kari Lake for GOV!

Day 3? Character Day; Tatum is into Pikachu right now which is a Pokeman character.

Cooper guarded her shirt before the big day.

I love that she made most of her costume (the ears and the face).

Her BFF, Isabel, was also Pikachu!

Finally the last day was Patriot Day (the day before Veteran’s Day. Red White and Blue.

What a fun week! Tomorrow we celebrate our Veteran’s.

Up at 5am, teaching of all things

First, she got up to do her yoga and prayers. Then, we heard her in the art/play room. What was she doing?

Students: Reeses and Carson, Michael, and Maggie, and Micah….oh, Corbin and Carmel.

She taught them Bible, structuring a paragraph, math, and grammar. She is so strict!

Later, she moved it all into the living room.

I see her strengths as she talks to her students. She graded their papers, worked individually with the students who needed help, and gave consequences for students who were “out of line.”
Future teacher? Hmm…..

Mommy and Me: Journaling, bonding, and tea-partying

Every Saturday, I want to dress up, have a tea party and talk. 10am. Be there!

How could I turn that down!?

First, last week, I bought a new journal and some color coding pens to use with it. Tatum couldn’t resist. She had to have one too! So, this became part of our Saturday morning.

Upon asking me to get the tea party ready, she walked in with her dress and heels on.

She was all ready to go. I poured our tea, and then we read our prompt for our journal discussion.

Cheers my love!

Let’s write.

Tatum first shared her heart with me. (Three wishes you have for your mommy or daughter) We had five.

I love all 5!! Love that she wants Daddy and me to grow in love.

Mine now!

In Jesus name!
We read to each other, then she showed me her color coding.

Love these pens!

Here’s her Color coding key.

She shared with me her GOD moment later. Melt.

I felt it too, Lovebug. More later!

Mommy, can you play with me?

Last week, I was not at my best. In fact, I had to lay down for a few hours. I had just given Coopy a bath, and he was ready to rock’n’roll.

He took good care of me while Tatum and Daddy were gone.

I’m so grateful for his little guy.

Barbie visits our home on Halloween!

Who is under all of that blond hair?

I put a little mascara on her; women pay for these lashes! She is blessed with gorgeous eyes.

Mom joined for some pics:

We are just about ready to head out.

Buddy, you have to stay behind, but we’ll bring you some candy!
As we headed down the sidewalk, a perfectly V-form of ducks passed overhead. They were scouting out which candy basket to pilfer probably.

God is so amazing in how he innately these ducks know how to form.

OK, Daddy loves our back sides apparently. More likely our hair?

Ok, we’ll go there too.

We hit about 15 of our neighbor’s homes, and it was a treat to see them all.

Hands off my candy, Daddy! Heehee

She ended up donating most of it to her classmates. Everyday, she puts a few pieces in to share, and she also created a “treasure box” for incentive for kids to return the books she lent out. Smart girl!

PAAAAAALEEEEEEEASE drop some of that!

Ready for Thanksgiving now, right Coopy?

Coopy loves the Daddy

He is so funny! At night, Coopy gets all lovey dovey.

Usually he’ll nestle his nozzle right into Daddy’s legs. SO stinkin’ CUUUUTE!
