Going on a little walk around the block with Coti and Tatum this morning in the cooooold! Yes, in Arizona, we freeze at 60.
The English Teacher’s Halloween
How should an English teacher dress for Halloween? A Part of Speech of course!
The best one is the “connector!” Sure! It has such a vital role, yet unappreciated. Now, the noun and verb are the main parts of a sentence, but how about the conjunction? More importantly, the coordinating conjunction? It fills the relational role of bringing clauses and phrases together!
What are the cc’s? FANBOYS!
for and nor but or yet so
Impossible to Price
For Halloween, we were stumped what to do for Taters. She does not care for head gear and putting a costume on her gave me a stomach ache. Putting her clothes on in the morning alone is an unwelcome endeavor. So…..my mom sewed a “Priceless” patch on her onesie and VOILA! This is perfect. This one word communicates so much. 🙂
Tatum’s on the move!
Day Three of the KAOS!
It’s getting less chaotic as we settle into this new routine. Our refrigerator and microwave sit in our dining room, and leaves about one foot by one foot of counter space. Putting ANYTHING on the dining room table is taboo, so, food is made in “piecemeal” parts. I’m learning to use more shaker bottles for my shakes, store-bought hard boiled eggs and hummus, and of course tons of fruit and veggies. The dishes go in a yellow bucket and get carried off to the shower for a spray and soap-down. Climbing over various boxes and crates is the challenge, especially when holding Tatum.Â
The kitchen now is completely gutted and ready to be…..Lord only knows!?
One day at a time…my mantra. We have food, shelter and family. The chaos is purely in the mind of the beholder. 🙂
Day TWO!
Happy 11 MONTHS!
Morning Tatum! We started on a walk with Coti and to greet the beautiful sunny morning of about 65 degrees.Â
Then, it was time to head to school!
She first had to play a bit and climb on Mommy.Â
And of course, give Grandma some love and kisses!
She is almost one year old!!! YEAH TATERS!!!
Tatum, may angels surround your day and you be filled with strength and love. May you know how much you are loved by God who is your TRUE DADDY. His arms will embrace you today and keep you high and lifted up.
May I be filled with wisdom! Raising Tatum successfully requires lots of patience, love and HELP! Often, I just go with it and remember to just love her through the tears, tantrums and trials. Thank you, God, for giving me this beautiful bundle of love. What did I do to deserve this? I will be forever grateful. GR8FL.
