Yes, they had a playdate today, President’s Day, and to celebrate Tatum would interview him on her new recorder.

My honey had this all set up for dinner time.
I had this set up. TACOs for my spicy family.

Daddy surprised us with so many goodies!

BIG hugs; TRUMP-sized!

And then me? Gosh honey.

And then…the big SURPISE!! This jumble of joy will add to her stuffy love.

Tatum got me the perfect gift. Yes, “the side” dishes. I’m a “side” gal.

And my honey gave me a reminder of how much he loves me every time I am at my work seated. LOVE. LOVE!

Now, I had to get Tatum this. I know..it’s soooo old school, but she wanted to record things, and so a walkman/recorder!

We always celebrate love in the HAY love nest. But today was extra lovey.

Yep, my rocket man got recognized for his efforts with NASA. WOW, so proud of him.

He just gets better with age. XO

I just got another article published at GCU about School Boards. Not super exciting, but hey, or HAY, I still finished it and they liked it. That’s a bonus.

And then there’s my art bug. Yep, the is my happy place; when I’m drawing. (Well, since I can’t have many fun foods anymore, and I feel kind of yucky sometimes). Drawing it my outlet.

I have been working on this, and now I finished. Here it is!

And framed. …. It will go on our art wall.

What will I draw next?

Can you believe Tatum is still home sick? Man…the past few weeks have been brutal.

The one good thing that has come of this is our working together in school.

We love doing math together.

Our art/play room is turning into our Homeschool “HAY”ven, and it’s making….

Our little moments become big memories.

She also is redecorating! Her desk is first. Of course, she needs to make it fun and a party!

We are working so hard that she’s pooped out at night with the little Coopy.

I think February 2024 will be the best in the past year. My hope.

It’s our anniversary month too!
We have barely dated let alone gone out in over a year.

Last night, we went out to dinner with our dear friends, Tacy and Ron.

He still GOTS IT! My HHH. I’m so proud of his health efforts. He really has made amazing strides to get healthy and look fit!

There has been such growth in Tatum’s creativity. Her imaginative mind continues to blow me away.

She wrote this small story one day while sitting at the island.

The Cursed Child: Chapter One : 5th period 

Carson walked over. “Punk!” I quickly closed my folder, his eyes followed my hand. “Hey man, what’s your problem!” I stared back down. Carson stared, his eyes boring holes in my head. “What you hiding,punk!” Silence. “WHAT ARE YOU HIDING !!!” Silence. He pulled hard at the folder. Silence. He snatched the folder. Silence. He opened it. I smiled.  Here I was sitting in Science class with a bully who was 3 times bigger than me and I had the nerve to smile! Who was I? King of England? No. I was a twelve year old boy in seventh grade.  I took my last breath then stood up. 

As I slammed my locker Carson walked up.   “Punk, I read your poem, and I think you should have it back .” I stared as he shoved tiny little pieces of my poem into my chest. 

I had to write a WHOLE STORY for homework. I wrote about how  much I hate homework because it takes so long. My sister pounded on my door. “Who is it?” Her muffled voice came. I stared at the door and gradually opened the door. “Mily I have homework to do !” She stared down at the paper and then turned back at me. A giggle came from her throat. “What?” She held the paper up. “What is a -“ I covered her mouth with my hand. A figure was hanging from my window! Mily screamed. 

I woke up to a huge pile of glass on my bed. My hand was bleeding! Then I passed out. 

My mom was putting a wet towel over my forehead when I woke up . “Lemmy needs a new “ but that was all I had heard because just then a figure chocked my dad. 

MOVIES!

Moreover, she is now making movies playing all sorts of characters. She uses props right outside our door or stuff we already own.

Her sound effects and audio clips inserted make it really come alive..and make it funny too!

AMEN. Thank you Jesus once again.
