He’s our little snuggle bug, but he can be two dogs. On one hand, he’s so lovable. In the morning, he goes around to all three of us to get a quick pet and love pat, and then he moves on. He belly crawls to Daddy when he is to go outside. He licks all visitors to death.
On the other hand, he is so skittish that he constantly is jumping around. He truly just needs a chill pill at times.
But all in all….COOPY…. you make us so happy! You brighten up the room.
We’d have a “staycation!” What better way to celebrate. Stay in. Stay focused on each other. AHHHHH.
Doug somehow snuck all the goodies for me behind my back as to surprise me! I surprised him with a cute little getup.
We dropped off Tatum at mom’s (THANK YOU MAMA) and started our date.
He gave me these flowers to start. Can you even!!??
Then we enjoyed our dinner. Coconut’s takeout saved the evening so we could spend more time talking than cooking. Also, a few gifts!
He got me a birdie that holds my vitamins! (NEEDED!), a cool Bible verse calendar, and an A-Z birdie box that he created. WOWOWOWOW. Just look what he did for each letter.
HOW AMAZING! JUST WOW. Honey, you are so good to me. You see me and all the good. Just thank you.
Our dinner was lovely and we later watched An Affair to Remember.
Such a fun romantic movie. Kept us on the edge until the end.
The next morning, we went down to our “ocean” and had a nice walk. The weather was glorious!
Oh, HHH, you make my heart smile. I love you so much.
Zoe and Tatum have been friends for a few years now. We have moved from the condo, but we go back to visit often to swim. Zoe is now turning SEVEN! WOW! the two of them are so cute together.
It’s the LAST day of her Spring Break. We have some vacations coming up, so we decided to be a bit low key this break.
First, we wanted to bless Vera with a “we’re praying for you and your arm (she fell and had surgery).”
NOW…Why not go on a mini bike ride (since it’s BEEEEAUUUTIFUL outside!) to breakfast.
We headed to BUTTERS for our adventure. Tot would eat, and Daddy and I would have coffee. It was packed since EVERYONE is on break, but we didn’t mind. It was just nice to be!
Daddy even took the morning off to join!
At the table, silliness ensued. What else do you do while you wait for food?
Tell jokes and color, right? Or …TOT! smile at Daddy.
After our outing, we rode around our “ocean.”
AAAAHHHH McCormick living, and with my family! What more could I ask for.
My mom always reminds me we need to get together for this day. When I was a little, we’d go to Houlihan’s before school, and she’d get her Irish coffee. It’s all about that and the dollop of whipped cream. So, Tot and I agreed to come have breakfast with her on this day.
Coti joined the fun.
We all had our green on!
She served fruit, hash brown O’brien, eggs, and BACON! Yum!
We hung out there for a few, and then the rest of the day was building Lego’s and swimming. I love Spring Break! Daddy, Tot and I got together to go over some important St. Patty info. First, I wanted to read a bit of history to them about St. Patrick. Four things we can learn from him:
From Crosswalk.com
“His given name wasn’t Patrick. He wasn’t Irish. He didn’t drive the snakes out of Ireland. Instead, the real St. Patrick was a gutsy, creative, tireless missionary in a land where he had been a slave as a young man.”
Stay Faithful, Even When Life Is Hard
Trust in God’s Plan
 Step Out in Faith
Meet People where they are
He was an inspiration and a hero.
We enjoyed learning more about him. Patrick tried to explain the trinity with a Shamrock! The three-leaves: Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
We watched a little Irish Dancing, and then celebrated with some yummy dinner. I made Thanksgiving dinner. Why? Because it was leftover! Ha! Not much green in our food, but it sure was yummy.
