She’s sneaky with her love cards

Doug and I are spoiled. Tatum is constantly surprising us with little love notes or cards. Now it must be said that this is part of our family ethos. I put a love note in Tatum’s lunch every day. I also put up notes on the chalkboard daily for her to find. Daddy? He puts notes on her mirror often and sometimes you can find a card on her chair before dinner. My HHH also surprises me often with post-it love notes and cards.

Well, Sunday morning, I strolled into the kitchie to make breakfast, and there it was.

Hmmmmm what’s this?

How cute are the two of us. I love my long flowing ponytail that matches Tot’s!

Then, Daddy went into his office and Voila!

The sneaky Tot.

Oh, now we are really ready for the beach! Coronado here we come, BTW!! (next week).

We love you and your heart, sweet girl. Let’s always live this way. Grateful and giving.

When we paint or create art, it’s for another

Tatum and I love to do art together. This all started back when she was four. The art cart

started it all. Fast forward to now at almost 8 years old, and she is constantly making things. But, the difference is now she is thinking of others when she creates.

Just the other day, on her 1/2 day Friday, she wanted to go to As You Wish and paint a plate for Daddy.

She worked so hard on it. Stay tuned for the final product!

Then, on Saturday, we decided to paint on the wooden pieces that were given to me for my birthday this year. I painted a cross for Tatum, and she made a unicorn for…. she has not decided yet. It’s quite colorful.

I love her heart. She is always thinking of others. XXOO.

Sick and tired but content and patriotic

OH, the Tot. She has been through so much with her allergies and then feeling just yucky. She had to stay home from school one day last week, and this week? Three days.

What do you think she does when she is home?

She grabs a pile of books. This day, it was Bernstein Bears. She plows through them with laughter and joy. Guess who eats it up?

Coopy can’t get enough of her. He just wants to listen and be a part of her day.

It was a tough few days, but we got all caught up with her work.

One of her assignments was to write about what the flag means to her. HALLELUIA! I love this school. When the country is falling apart with this “fear”demic from the C-virus, and we are in the middle of an election to keep our president in office (Oh, please Lord. Keep Trump safe and healthy), she has this awesome assignment.

Tatum and I discussed this in-depth, so she is getting the RIGHT information about our amazing country. Let Freedom Ring!

And let Tot get better. Amen.
