Because it’s Monday, hot fudge?

Yes. It’s always a hot fudge Monday. Well, when you were supposed to be in Sedona, but you cancel your trip due to extraneous circumstances, you make it up with fun outings.

So….we figured, why not!? Plus our devotion told us to celebrate HOW MUCH JESUS LOVES US. Hot fudge would do the trick.

We headed to the best place to get them.

SUGAR BOWL!

Daddy took a couple hours off to join us! SSSHHHH don’t tell Honeywell.

YUMMMMMEEEE!

We’ll find another reason soon to come back.

I LOVE YOU FAMILY!

Monday surprises and playfulness

I often go to the gym in the morning before Tot wakes up. This morning, when I got home, she had a sign waiting for me. Not just any sign….

Really? Me? Ah…shux.

The taping was probably more work than I can imagine! Lovebug….you are so amazing and kind.

We then went to have coffee with my dear friend Karen. What a JOY that was!!!

Then she got to work playing (after our school morning of course).

She had some pictures made and then cut them out to use them as play figures

and make-believe. I tell you, she has the most robust imagination.

Me and Coopy in another area
phases of Tot (her sisters)
more…her class (1-8th grade)

Her imagination is rich!

I love hearing her pretend. It’s so fun for me. I love you TOT!!!

Thank you for my sign, and thank you for being YOU YOU YOU!

All you do for us. D.A.I.L.Y.

It was a Saturday, and Daddy was HARD at work. He always is, actually, but this weekend he had his creativity button down all day working on the fountain he has designed.

I mean…just check out this drawing!! He has a gift.

This is the start of it…(more to come in a future blog).

Well, Tatum had some shows of appreciation before our HAY HUDDLE tonight.

This card is a thank you from Coopyhead.

What does it say????
Woof?

He loved you, Daddy!!!
Now, Tot’s turn.

You are a life saver for us, Daddy. You save our lives from not having you in it! We love you so much!

We don’t tell you enough how much we appreciate you and all you do for us.

Another Mommy and Me entry

We needed to describe each other in our own words.

Tatum read to me what she wrote (We do it separately so we can’t see what the other wrote)

She explained each one. The one she elaborated on was the “pretending” word. I wanted to cry with gratitude. She said, “Mommy, I know most days you are in pain, but you pretend like you are not.” Saying I was “happy” made my day as well. Wow.

I agree with how she assessed herself.

My turn:

Cooper was interested.

Here is what I wrote.

True. ALL true, lovebug.

Piggie and Puppy Part 3; Our new book!!

First book, two summers ago:

Then, last year, we wrote the follow up.

This time, we planned planned planned. What would Piggie and Puppy be up to in this book? We were inspired by our rafting adventure last June. So…this would be our plot.

Finally we were ready to do each page. We split them up once again.

Now all three have been published!

Our idea of the ROCK we hit turned into the ROCK we turn to. HIM!!! Let’s apply that to our new book
ROCK’N’RIDE: A Piggie and Puppy Adventure with guests The Hay Family

Here you go!

Dedication:

They needed a new adventure. Puppy remembers his heroism in the first book, and Piggie remembers his first place in the surf contest. Then puppy has an idea for both of them.

Let’s ROCK It!

Tatum is the sage in the book…she sees the danger ahead!

Uh oh.

Our hats are floating away along with our bodies!

Not Tot!

They have to go to the real ROCK!

Thank you God!

HE rocked (which allowed them to ride and save us!)

Read them all to us, Tot!

Will there be a 4th book? Stay tuned. I love writing with you, Taties!

Two Girls TWOsday and Thunderbolt!

Our two girls Tuesday plan this week was to go to Chompie’s for breakfast then to go get a copy of our book made (more to come here). Finally, it was time for our new addition!

We first went to get our food.

Twinsies again. She wanted a different Panther shirt this week!
Ready to eat!

We also shared our Mom and Me journal from Monday.

Similar answers!

I just love her heart.

Ok, so off to Pet Smart!

We had to buy the aquarium first and let the water run for a couple of days to get it ready.

It’s all ready for our new little fish friend!
We took a sample of the water into the store to have it tested. It’s a bit soft, but it’s ready for our new Betta fish. Tatum wanted to name him Thunderbolt.

Cooper is curious!

Is this my new brother?

Let’s go put him in his new home.

He’s so cute!

Cooper still has not gotten an answer to his question. YES, Coopy, this is your new brother.

What a fun experience! We are excited for our new addition. Don’t worry Coopy, we still love you immensely!

Gratitude Dinner for Tatum with Heart Mapping!

We needed to have one more night to celebrate Tatum’s Love Day with mama. I decided to create a craft plan so we could make something all together. Plus the Suns are in the finals, so we could watch the game too!

Before Mama came, we three had a Hay Huddle to discuss our day. Cooper had to get in there too.

OH, Coopy!
We also got a few pics just for fun.

My two LOVES!
And my HHH: Tot takes the best pics!

Ok all set for Mama. When she arrived, we immediately turned on the game and I gave directions for our craft.

In the middle of the Heart Map, you put what you are MOST grateful for. Then the things in the center are the most significant gratitudes and as you move out, less significant. All important though!
We are all hard at work!

We will be presenting them at dinner.
Speaking of…I’m working hard to get it ready!
…TACO BAR!

Come and get it!

We’ll eat in the glorious dining room. The Gathering spot!

Mama will go first.

Hers is so pretty! I love how she made it come alive with all the pics. I love you MAMA!

Next, TOT!

Hers is also so colorful!

LOVE YOU BUMBY!
Ok, my Honey now.

His is so beautiful and it flows! The house is designed beautifully on his pic.

Let’s look at them all closely before I present.

(Mama wanted a pic of all of her goodies from the evening)

Tot’s and Daddy’s

Now, I will present mine!

Doug loved my teeny tiny writing. I’M SO VERY GRATEFUL!

Later on, Tot pulled out the jacks I got her and played with Mama on the floor. I used to play this for HOURS when I was her age.

Great memories and now she will carry on the tradition.

What a fun night! I love you, family!!! We are a grateful group.
